When Public Nectar took on luxury furniture client Lush Interiors, the brand was barely treading water with Google Ads.
Despite spending £2,500 to £3,000 per month, their revenue generated remained stagnant at around £5,300.
After working with Public Nectar's expert team, they skyrocketed to £351,000 in monthly revenue at an incredible 8.96 ROAS.
1 → Analysis & Goal Setting
The first step was to dive deep into the client's data and KPIs. The core goal was to hit a minimum 8 ROAS and scale revenue as much as possible.
By analysing the client's average order value (AOV) of around £625, our account manager determined they needed to spend roughly £75-80 to acquire each new customer profitably.
2 → Campaign Strategy
With clear KPIs established, we began planning a granular campaign structure. The approach at Public Nectar is to split campaigns by brand or product type for maximum control and optimisation based on individual performance.
Since the client only stocked their own brand, the campaigns were segmented by top-selling product categories like barstools and dining furniture. The campaign mix included:
- Performance Max campaigns
- Standard Shopping campaigns (branded, unbranded, and low-quality negatives)
- Branded Search campaigns
- Display Remarketing
A key issue we often see with new clients is the failure to exclude branded terms from Performance Max campaigns, hindering new customer acquisition.
Our team always excludes brand terms from PMax and instead targets them through standard Shopping and Search campaigns.
For the PMax campaigns, we tested multiple asset groups for each product category, customising the creative and product feed to highly relevant audiences.
By constantly testing new asset group variations based on search trends and competitor insights, Public Nectar progressively improved the relevance and efficiency of the PMax campaigns.
3 → Results
The impact of Public Nectar's management is undeniable. Looking at the client's Shopify data, there is a clear inflection point when the agency took over.
The account went from struggling to hit its ROAS targets to consistently performing at a high level, driving the business to new heights. Shopify revenue data shows a sustained 190% increase since partnering with Public Nectar.
"The business has been basically leveled up in terms of the revenue it was previously achieving to the revenue it is now achieving."
